Today I made a box bag to send to a special friend for her birthday. The fabric makes me happy. I love a treat that is non-caloric and brightly colored. I hope it makes her happy too!
On the Lenten project front, I’m still continuing to meet my goal of one a day. Today’s contribution is made from fabric my mom shared with me, an Elinor Peace Bailey print entitled Nine Lives and Old Wives. It too is cheerful and hopefully will bring some joy to whomever lays her head on it.
I can’t wait to read the blog that tells what the Lenten project was! (pillow-cases for charilty?) very cool work. I sewed my first zipper last weekend. will post in soon
